After the lukewarm response to the Popstar Style, the developers are releasing a new style in Basketball Zero called the King. As its name suggests, it is based on the most popular Basketball Player, LeBron James. As a result, the kit offers a range of physical and scoring abilities and is highly flexible, allowing play anywhere on the pitch. So, if you are wondering how to get the King Style or want to know the details of individual skills, here is a detailed guide.
King Style Unlock Guide
Like every other Style in Basketball Zero, the King Style is also acquired through the game's gacha rolling system. First, press the Styles option from the main menu, then use Lucky Spins to start rolling for the Style. Yes, the King is a limited-time style, and you must use the Lucky Spins to have a remote chance of getting the Style, due to its extremely low spawn rarity. Also, before spinning, select the King Style under the Limited Rarity column to inform the preference system that you need this particular Style under the Limited Rarity column. That's it! Keep spinning, and if luck favors you, you will get the King Style in no time. Still, there is no guarantee or a time frame within which you will get the Style.
King Style Abilities and Showcase
Below, you can find details about the King Style in Basketball Zero.
- No Look (With ball): Lets the player perform a flashy dribble, looking one way while firing a pass in the opposite direction, setting his teammate up for a completely free shot.
- Self Alley(With ball): Players can dribble toward the rim, toss the ball off the glass to themselves, and finish with a crushing hammer dunk straight from a highlight reel
- Flop (Off Ball): This ability triggers when an opponent drives the ball into the player.
- Outcome 1: Ref appears and penalizes you while the opponent moves with the ball.
- Outcome 2: Ref penalizes your opponent and throws the ball towards you.
- Turnover (Awakened): The opposing team loses possession on their side of the court. A teammate scoops it and launches a full-court pass to the King at half-court. The camera follows behind him as he sprints into the open floor, takes off just inside the free-throw line, and throws down an iconic reverse windmill.
- The Block (Awakened): This activates during a chase-down. The cutscene opens at midcourt with an opponent on a fast break. As they leap for a layup, the camera shifts to a sharp side angle. The King rockets upward, pins the ball against the glass, and a teammate grabs the ball.
Basketball Zero King Style FAQs
The Self Alley is King Style's best ability, letting you pull off an incredible dunk that is extremely easy to execute and brings you free points.
I think the Flop is the worst skill, as it's a complete RNG-based ability with a 50% chance of you or the enemy being penalized, making it unreliable.
The King Style has a spawn rarity of 0.25% similar to the Miracle rarity Style in Basketball Zero.
