While Exclusive is the highest rarity of animals in Raise Animals, it’s the Shine animals that are considered far more valuable because of the skill that is required to catch and tame them. Shine animals only spawn on the biomes under certain conditions. Now that the number of Shine animals in Raise Animals has reached double digits, this guide lists the spawn requirements of all of them so you won’t have to remember them.

How to Spawn All Shine Animals in Raise Animals

There are 10+ Shine animals in the game. Most of them have been added with content updates, and more are definitely to come. As and when that happens, we’ll update this list accordingly. Bookmark this page to easily see the spawn requirements of whichever Shine animal you plan to hunt.

Passive: Constantly slows down animals by 20% (within 15 studs). Gains +5% base speed per 10 animals eaten.
Eat 3 Lions while riding a Lion to spawn the Golden Lion. Starting with a Lion does not count. You must start with a different animal, jump onto a Lion, and then eat 3 Lions without switching to another animal to spawn a Golden Lion.
Phoenix in Raise Animals
Phoenix
Speed: 30 - 35
HP: 2
Earning: $14,500 / 60s
Base Value: $151,875

Passive: On first crash, instead of dying, destroy nearby obstacles, gain +200% speed, and gain invincibility for 10s. Second crash will kill you.
Survive until 5,000 meters in the rodeo mini-game.
After that, the Phoenix will spawn in the Jungle Biome. Make sure to add the Jungle Biome when selecting the maps.

Speed: 20 - 24
HP: 3
Earning: $7,250 / 60s
Base Value: $10,125

Passive: When the passive meter is full, it roars loudly to inflict fear on nearby animals. Eat 5 fear-inflicted animals to trigger Inferno Flight.
During Inferno Flight, it gains a speed boost and breathes fire forward that burns animals and obstacles in front.
Survive until 5,000 meters and ride the Phoenix when it spawns. While riding the Phoenix, make it to the Everdawn Biome to spawn the Dragon.
Whale Shark in Raise Animals
Whale Shark
Speed: 18 - 22
HP: 3
Earning: $15,500 / 60s
Base Value: $101,250

Passive: Every 14s, create a 5s vortex that slows down nearby animals by 20%. Also gain +40% speed for 4s and break all obstacles.
Ride all the Ocean Biome animals during a single run. These are Seal, Jellyfish, Turtle, Crab, Whale, Shark, and Orca. You don’t have to ride them in any sequence.
If you die/use respawn, the requirement resets.
Ice Mammoth in Raise Animals

Speed: 18 - 20
HP: 2
Earning: $13,000 / 60s
Base Value: $50,625

Passive: Freezes ground to slow down nearby animals.
Destroys rocks and trees without slowing down (15s Cooldown).
Ride 5 elephants and survive for 2,500 meters to spawn the Ice Mammoth.
Headless Horse

Speed: 23 - 28
HP: 3
Earning: $30,000 / 60s
Base Value: $151,875

Passive: Every 30s, charge for 10s to destroy all obstacles and eat all animals in its path.
20% chance of spawning during Pumpkin Fall on the Halloween Biome.
(Currently unobtainable because the Halloween Biome does not spawn in the game)
Tyrannosaurus Rex in Raise Animals
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Speed: 18 - 20
HP: 3
Earning: $3,500 / 240s
Base Value: $405,000

Passive: Roars to inflict Fear on nearby animals to slow them down and gain a speed boost. Devour fear-inflicted animals on collision, instead of losing HP.
Make it to the Cretaterra Biome and wait for the Spinosaurus to spawn. Ride the Spinosaurus for 120 seconds to spawn the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Starting with the Spinosaurus does not count. You must ride a wild Spinosaurus. 
Pharaoh Eagle in Raise Animals

Speed: 17 - 19
HP: 3
Earning: $5,000 / 60s
Base Value: $60,750

Passive: When the passive meter is full, it flies into the air and dashes forward. During the dash, it summons three desert storms that can slow down other animals and inflict Fear.
Ride 3 Sand Cats in a row to spawn the Pharaoh Eagle. Do not ride any other animal, or the streak resets. Also, starting with a Sand Cat also does not count. You have to ride 3 wild Sand Cats consecutively. 
Chimera in Raise Animals
Chimera
Speed: 12 - 16
HP: 3
Earning: $5,000 / 60s
Base Value: $10,125

Passive: Randomly activates 1 of the following 4 abilities:
1. Fires venom from the tail to slow down animals in front.
2. Roars and inflicts Fear on nearby animals.
3. Shoots a fireball that explodes and causes AoE blasts to destroy obstacles.
4. Performs a charging attack that destroys obstacles in front.
Ride a Snake, Lion, and Dragon during a single run to spawn the Chimera.
You will have to survive until 5,000 meters and ride a Phoenix to spawn the Dragon.
Cthulhu in Raise Animals
Cthulhu
Speed: 20 - 26
HP: 3
Earning: $9,500 / 60s
Base Value: $10,125

Passive: Every 10s, spits a venom glob forward to poison animals in front. Poisoned animals get slowed down and eaten on a collision.
Defeat the Cthulhu Boss that spawns in the Everdawn Biome.
To defeat the boss, avoid 10 waves of attacks. After that, the boss turns into a Cthulhu that you can tame as any other animal.

Yes, Shine rarity animals are the only animals that can be tamed multiple times. If you want to get duplicates of other animals, you can get them from the Animal Shop.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex is the best animal to keep in the Zoo because it adds $405,000 to your zoo’s value (without mutations) and produces 50x Raw Meat per hour that you can use to feed other animals.
