The Forge Best Spear Recipes & Traits

If you want to know what the best Spear recipe is in The Forge, you'll have to wait a bit. Before we jump into theory-crafting, let's first go over the optimal Ore combination for crafting a Spear. To maximize your chances, you'll need to put exactly 16 Ores into the crucible, which gives you a 69% chance to craft a Spear. This is the highest you can get, making it an optimal amount of Ores to craft a Spear.

Of course, if you want to experiment, you can add slightly more or slightly less Ore, which will lower your chances of getting a Spear but may result in a stronger final outcome, either through a better multiplier or stronger passive effects from Ore Trait buffs. With that said, what we can say is that some combination of Magmaite, Eye Ore, and Fireite will give you the best Spear in the game.

Important Note: This guide is a work in progress, and we’re still searching for the best late-game Spear crafting recipe. We’ll be testing the new content extensively, and as soon as we identify the optimal late-game build, we’ll be sure to share it with you. Stay tuned!
