The team has tried to balance things out with this one by reducing the prices of pickaxes, increasing the chances of mining something useful, and even balancing the older islands to allow you to get to the new one faster. And speaking of new islands, word on the street is that Crimson Sakura introduces a lot of new content.

The long-awaited Island 4 is finally here, along with a bunch of new updates in The Forge that have the goal of making the player experience that much more enjoyable. Rest assured, there is a lot of cool stuff to do, so make sure you get all the brand-new weapons and pickaxes and get ready to go against new enemies across the Crimson Sakura Island.

📈Massive Economy & Drop Rate Rework
Island 3 and overall progression have been rebalanced.
Ore drop chances have been significantly adjusted to improve flow and scaling.✨Area & Spawn Adjustments

Forge FAQ
As of the latest update on February 22, 2026, the max level you can reach in Forge is 250.
The best pickaxe in The Forge Island 4 update is the Kitsune Pickaxe, especially since it deals a lot more damage, and it doesn't cost as much as some of the Pickaxes from W3.
There is no regular updating schedule at the moment. So far, updates have been happening once or twice a moth, with smaller events as well as large island updates. Crimson Sakura has only gotten a part 1 update, so if they follow the same pattern as with Frostspire Expanse, then you can expect the following update around February 28.
