The UFO event spawns every hour at a rotating map location and drops food, boost items, dice, power fruits, and jackpot spins worth hundreds of Robux. The biggest free-to-play addition is the Fruit Extractor which is a machines that remove a power fruit from your slime at no Robux cost, returning 50% of it. The update also adds eight new slimes, two new zones, and new tiers for Luck, Goop, and Walk Speed upgrades.
The UFO update is one of the more substantial drops Slime RNG has had in a while. There is a new limited-time event running every hour with high-value rewards on the table, an F2P solution to getting back power fruits, eight slimes to collect, and even two new zones. So, to help you know everything new, this guide covers all of what's added in the update, so you know where to spend your time.
How Does the UFO Event Work in Slime RNG?

The UFO spawns once every hour at a rotating location on the map. A countdown timer in the top-right corner of the screen tracks both the time until the next spawn and where it currently is. Around 20 minutes before it arrives, a proper countdown appears so you can start heading over. The current UFO location is also marked with a rainbow outline, which makes it easy to teleport there directly.
Once the UFO is active, it moves around and drops loot as it goes. You can follow it on foot, or if you have the Auto Collect game pass, you can stay wherever you are on the map and still pick up drops without chasing them at all.
There are actually two versions of the UFO. The regular Green UFO is what spawns every hour. The Golden UFO has a lower chance of appearing, but drops noticeably better rewards when it does. If you see one, it is worth dropping whatever you are doing to go after it.
Here's a list of all the rewards you can get from this event:
- Food
- Boost Items (Luck Potions, Currency Potions, etc.)
- Dice
- Power Fruits (including the new Universe Fruit)
- Jackpot Spins (best reward drop)
NOTE: This is a limited time event. It will last for 7 Days, from at the time of this article being published.
How Does the Fruit Extractor Work in Slime RNG?

The Fruit Extractor is a free machine that removes a Power Fruit from your slime without spending Robux. Before this update, the only way to do that was the Fruit Recovery item at 40 Robux per use. Extractor machines are scattered across the map so that you can find them in Zone 10, the Redwood Forest (Zone 12), and other locations.
The trade-off is simple since the free Extractor returns 50% of your fruit, while the 40 Robux Fruit Recovery item still gives you the full 100%. You do lose half going the free route, but getting something back for nothing beats losing the fruit entirely.
Which Slimes Have Been Added in the UFO Update?

Eight new slimes were added in this update. All eight are available to unlock. Here's all of them:
- Frenchie
- Eggy
- Dumpy
- Chef
- Twinkie
- Bot
- Sushi
- Nighty
Which Zones Have Been Added in the UFO Update?
Two new areas have been added to the map in this update. Among them, one is genuinely the best farming zone in the game right now.
Ancient Portal
The Ancient Portal is a new zone that includes a Crafting Machine inside, but no new craftable recipes have been added yet; those will come in a future update. For now, it is worth visiting for the aesthetics, but there is not much to do there beyond exploring.
Race Car Zone
This is where you will actually want to spend your time. The Race Car Zone is the best zone in the game for farming both coins and goop right now. If resource grinding is your main activity, this is the spot.
Which Upgrades Have Been Added in the UFO Update?
Three upgrade categories have new tiers added in this update. None of them are instant buys, but they are all worth working toward depending on your current progression.
Luck Upgrades
Two new luck tiers, namely Galactic Luck and Universal Luck, which push your luck stat cap from 1,150 up to 1,300.
Goop Upgrade
A new goop upgrade gives you a 7.5% chance for enemies to drop double goop on death. The price is high enough that it will take a while to reach, but the long-term farming value makes it worth saving toward.
Walk Speed
New walk speed tiers have been added. Walk speed is easy to overlook, but it is genuinely useful during the UFO event.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Yes. Jackpot spins worth 300 Robux are in the drop pool, and so are power fruits, including rare ones like Universe Fruit. The drops are RNG-based, so you will not hit the jackpot every run, but the potential reward is high enough that skipping the event is a bad call while it is active.
Not entirely. The free Extractor machines return only 50% of your fruit, while the 40 Robux Fruit Recovery item still gives you the full fruit back. If the fruit is valuable enough that losing half hurts, the Robux option is still the better method. But for most situations where you just want a bad fruit gone, the free Extractor does the job without spending anything.
