If it is not tracked, the blue objective marker will not appear when you reach the Soul Society Outskirts. This is the main reason why you can end up wandering around looking for the necklace with no idea where to go.
Where Is Nikla's Necklace Located in VV Ultimatum?
Nikla's Necklace is inside a chest at the blue objective marker in Soul Society Outskirts. With the quest tracked, press U to open the portal menu, select Soul Society Outskirts, and teleport there. A large, blue glowing sphere will be visible near your landing point.
The chest is located right beside the marker. You do not need to search the area or explore beyond the objective point. Interact with the chest to collect the necklace.
