To ground pound in Psychonauts 2, press the X button while in midair on Xbox controllers, and the Square button on PlayStation devices. Raz will need to gain some height on his jump to enact this ability, so make sure to hold the A button on Xbox controllers and the X button on PlayStation controllers to get some air.

The ground pound ability is great for dealing with enemies below Raz and uses his mobility against his enemies. Make sure to use this ability when swarmed with enemies or if the opponents are a bit too difficult to deal with on land. Ground Pound can also be used when falling from high places. It’s the perfect opener for a fight, so get the drop on enemies with this move whenever possible.

This is just one of the many tools at Raz’s disposal, and as a Psychonaut, he’ll need every trick he has to solve the mysteries ahead on his journey through the minds of others.
