Back 4 Blood is a cooperative shooter with several unique modes in which players can participate. One of the modes that players can enjoy in Back 4 Blood is Swarm Mode. This mode allows users to play in teams of four against one another, taking turns playing as the Cleaners and the Ridden. The first team to win two rounds wins. Where Cleaners upgrade their arsenal using Supply Points, Ridden use Mutation Points.
Players start Swarm games with a small allotment of Mutation Points in Back 4 Blood, but they’ll need to perform in matches to earn more. Earn Mutation points by restraining, injuring, or killing enemy players. These points upgrade the abilities and characteristics of Ridden classes, and Ridden teams share these upgrades.
The more upgrades Ridden Teams get, the more influential the classes will get. These upgrades include enhanced durability, more powerful AI-controlled Ridden allies, and boosted attack damage. Try to coordinate upgrades with teammates to make a well-rounded setup.
Upgrades continue to stockpile until a Swarm game ends. Once a new Swarm match begins, players will have to upgrade their characters from scratch again.
Back 4 Blood is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
