On average it takes somewhere between 30 to 40 minutes of real-time to play a game in Valorant. As with any other multiplayer game, the times may vary depending on a specific match, the player skill, and many other factors.
There are instances where one-sided games can take as low as 20 minutes with only 13 rounds played out. On the other side, however, there can be up to 25 rounds in a single Valorant match. If there is a tie with a score of 12 to 12 (and every round takes between 100 to 110 seconds on average) then some of the longest games can take up to between 50 to 70 minutes.
Valorant matches are definitely shorter than other FPS games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. In CS: GO, matches can take up to 90 minutes, which is almost twice the time of a Valorant match.
Even though, on average games take a little over 30 minutes we still recommend having at least an hour of your time reserved. You never know how long a certain match will last.
