How long will Breakwaters be in Early Access?

If you wonder how long Breakwaters will remain in Early Acess, it's estimated to be around six months. However, it's important to note that the developers stated the following on their Steam Early Access page. 

"There isn't a defined length we intend to be in early access, its partly determined by how long the features with the highest demand take release."

Basically, this means that there is no exact date they are looking to release the game. Also, how long the game will remain in Early Acess depends on how long the development time of the features in Breakwaters.

We think this is a reasonable position to take as there is really no way to tell how long a game will remain in early access. Especially for indie game dev teams, and in general early access development takes time. 

Problems can also happen, and you never know what is waiting around the cornier. Nevertheless, they also gave an estimate for the duration of Early Acess. You can read this statement below, which was also taken from the early access page on the game's Steam page.

"We estimate 6+ months of early access plus additional updates after full release."
