The fastest way to train English Longbowman

Age of Empires IV multiplayer mode is an entirely different ballgame when compared to its campaign mode. To excel in the multiplayer version, you should understand and study any particular civilization to its core. If you are mastering English civilization, You should learn the longbowman rush build order. To quickly make an English longbowman, you must advance to the feudal age by building the Council Hall Landmark.

To advance quickly, follow the steps given below.

  • To progress to the feudal age, you will need to collect 400 food and 200 gold.
  • At the beginning of your multiplayer session, you will have six villagers and one scout at your service.
  • Use the Cavalry scout to explore nearby gold mines and herd all the sheep back to base. 
  • At the same time, Assign four workers to collect foodtwo workers to mine gold, and create four more new villagers using the base food. You start each game with 200 food, 150 wood and 100 gold.

  • Use the first trained villager to build a house and solve the population criteria.
  • Send all the new four villagers to collect gold and mine the required 200 gold quickly.
  • After collecting the required gold, Divide and send two villagers to chop wood and four Villagers to gather food.
  • Now, A total of eight workers should be on food and two villagers on wood.
  • After collecting all the 400 food, build the City Hall landmark. The City Hall landmark allows you to train English Longbowman without the need for any archery range.
  • Assign 3-4 food collecting villagers to build the landmark.
  • After constructing the landmark, rearrange your villagers equally to collect wood and food.

After advancing to the Feudal Age, Train English Longbowman from the Council Hall landmark for 50 wood and 40 food.

After training 2-3 Longbowman, take them to the outskirts of your enemy's village and try to take down any buildings, villagers, or other units. Use the range of your bowmen to your advantage and try to play the bait and retreat game.

Remember, The main focus of the longbowman build order is to sabotage your opponent's initial economy. So, try to turn his attention towards your longbowmen while you concentrate on building up your economy for late-game.
