Best Palico Support type in Monster Hunter Rise

All Palicoes are good Palicoes.

Monster Hunter Rise has been on the Nintendo Switch for a while now and has been ported to PC. Any monster hunter will need to bring the right Palico, your loyal cat companion, for the job. This poses the question, what is the best Palico support type?

Recommended Videos

The best Palico support type will depend on your experience and your playstyle. The Healer Palico is always a great choice, especially for newcomers. The Fight and Assist Palicoes are also good choices as they aid in fights. Lastly, the Gathering Palico is good later as it helps you gather materials.

Ultimately you can't go wrong with any Palico assist types, but we recommend choosing from the above Palicoes. Which works best will be situational and dependant on your playstyle, but the Healer, Fight and Assist types are all viable choices for any situation.

While the Gathering Palico won't help in a fight, it will speed up the time it takes to gather materials. Just make sure that you protect your Palico buddy from monsters, or you may not gather anything at all!
