To repair weapons in Dying Light 2, you will need to get your hands on weapon mods and install them into your weapons. In short, every time you install a New Weapon mod into your weapon, it will raise the durability each time.
Some weapons will also have limited weapon mod slots. So if you install mods in all of them, you will not be able to repair the weapon again.
Because of this, it's highly recommended to save weapon mods for weapons that have slow durability loss. Such weapons include those that fall under both artifact land unique loot rarities.
These weapons not only have slower durability loss, but they also often have more durability than uncommon and rare weapons do. Along with this, you can also put more Weapon Mods inside of them to repair and boost their damage.

Each weapon mod will also repair and add around 50 durability to your weapon. But once a mod is added, you can not change it, and so you will need to be careful when you add mods. We recommend monitoring your weapon's durability loss to know when you should install a new mod.
The Ideal time to install a new mod is when your weapon is about halfway or close to being broken, but not around one durability.
