There is a strong focus on single-player in Starship Troopers - Terran Command. While the Steam description talks a lot about the game's story, it makes no mention of multiplayer. During a Twitch Interview, Marco A. Minoli, the marketing director, spoke about multiplayer and co-op integration.
Minoli stated that there would never be any multiplayer, but co-op would be something they may implement later on. Therefore, Starship Troopers - Terran Command will not have co-op or multiplayer upon release.

Terran Command is a real-time strategy game, comparable to Halo Wars, where the player controls a human army against a bug foe that fans may recognize. In the game's story, humans fight back against the bugs on the desert planet Kwalasha.
The game takes place during the war against Arachnids. There was a lot of emphasis in the movie on the battle against the Arachnids, which was also a major villain in the book. The game does not look like it will make any changes to the book's storyline. The book's story mainly focuses on Rico, the main character, and his experiences. Rico was not deployed to Kwalasha.
Starship Troopers - Terran Command will be exclusively released on Steam on March 31, 2022.
