Balanced

Balanced is a more traditional Borderlands experience. The combat and boss fights are pretty difficult but can be accomplished with dedication.

Intense

Intense is for players who want a challenge. Veterans of Borderlands gameplay. The Intense difficulty is genuinely challenging, and it can take multiple attempts to take down some of the bigger bosses in the game.
