After defeating Fecto Forgo, it will absorb Elfilis and become the final boss of Kirby and the Forgotten Land—Fecto Elfilis! You must defeat this formidable being on the rooftop of Lab Discovera before you can see how the ending events of the game unfold, and an all-new world is open for you to explore.
Tips on how to defeat Fecto Elfilis
Once more, you get a Maxim Tomato before a big boss fight, but maybe you still have one to go from Waddle Dee Town, ready to use in battle if you refuse to die. You'll be in good shape if you have Dragon Fire or Blizzard Ice, though—the magenta Dragon Fire will cling to the boss and do residual damage as you concentrate on dodging Fecto Elifis' many attacks. And shielding with Blizzard Ice will guard you against most of those attacks, but it will take longer to defeat the boss with ice.
When the battle begins, Fecto Elifis will send spears flying at you from far away in the sky. Don't stop moving as it does this twice, then be ready to dodge as the boss pierces down next to you with its spear—lightning fast. Quickly, it will swing the spear horizontally, so be sure to jump and hover over it. Otherwise, your Copy Ability will be swiped off.

Hover to avoid the damaging spear of Fecto Elifis
Fecto Elifis will also send its flying spears for you while on the ground. Keep moving, but take advantage of the two-second window to attack between each set of spear shots. During the third set of this attack's homing spears, Elifis will do another swipe. Hover over these swipes, and also be sure to hover when Elifis charges at you with the tip of its spear ripping up the ground.
Another attack requires great timing while slide-dodging. Elifis targets you from the sky and then rips a line meant to go through you as it does the length of the roof. Slide-dodge this strike, but begin this attack on one side of the roof and keep moving and sliding in the same direction as you dodge. The rubble left by the spear on the ground burns and damages you if you walk over it.
Yet another attack warns you with multiple shadows on the ground, where giant swords will thrust down and create shockwaves over which you need to keep hovering. And also hover over the huge, continuous energy beam Fecto Elifis aims at you from the sky.

Attack the real Fecto Elfilis before it can heal
Phase two begins with a roar from Fecto Elifis. You've depleted its life by about half, and now it will rip a hole in the sky and send space rocks hurling at you. You can evade the smaller ones, but the large one is difficult to get around. Run to the extreme edge, or glide with Dragon Fire.
The next bit is crucial—Fecto Elifis makes two copies of itself and begins to regenerate its life bar. You need to choose and attack the real Elifis enough in time. Attack each one until it disappears, then you'll know you got the real one. If you don't deal enough damage to the real Fecto Elifis before the circle on the ground shrinks too far, a majority of the boss's life bar will replenish, and the battle will be significantly prolonged.
If you chose the real Fecto Elifis, it won't be long until you achieve victory and save your friend with one last mouthful and vigorous joystick wiggling. Nice work beating the final boss of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Now sit back for once and enjoy the ending before the very last world of new stages opens to you.
