What is Alien Dark Descent about?
In Aliens: Dark Descent, you can pick from five Marine classes to form your squad and lead them through deadly areas Lethe. As you traverse the moon, you'll face a bunch of Xenomorphs that can overwhelm you with numbers. It's an interesting concept as you're not a super-strong Space Marine that can run through waves of enemies. Being vulnerable is part of the experience, as your marines have a Darkest Dungeon-like stress meter.
The game is more than just an endless fight with Aliens though. Between missions, you can customize your squad, level up marines, and specialize them with unique abilities, weapons, armor, and perks, for high-stakes missions on treacherous terrain. You also have a base of operations to research new tech and enhance your squad.
