Ada-1, everyone's favorite exo is selling a highly sought-after mod for a limited time. Stacks on Stacks is a mod that can be integral to a few different builds within Destiny 2. Let's get into the details of how it works and how to use it.
What is the Stacks on Stacks mod in Destiny 2?
Stacks on Stacks is a universal Void mod. This means it can be slotted into any piece of armor with the Void affinity. When equipped, Guardians will gain an extra stack of Charged with Light for every stack that is gained. However, this imposes a -10 Recovery penalty.
The drawback to the -10 Recovery isn't as severe as it seems with Resilience being the desired perk for Season of the Haunted. Additionally, the big draw to Stacks on Stacks is the near-constant uptime of Charged with Light.
Stacks on Stacks works best in a Charged with Light build. To utilize a build in this vein, Guardians will need a mod that gains the charge and a mod that uses the charge. Stacks on Stacks can then be utilized to maximize the available charges so that their benefits are near-constant.
For example, using the Taking Charge mod will create a charge when picking up Orbs of Power. A mod like High-Energy Fire will see weapon damage gain a boost when Charged with Light. Each combatant that is defeated this way consumes one stack of Charged with Light. In cases where there are a lot of enemies, Stacks on Stacks will work wonders.
