Animal Crossing: New Horizons is going to be having their an Easter event and it's called Bunny Day! This is an Easter celebration type event, and we've got information on the release date and what you'll be able to do while it is going on.
Bunny Day Release Date
Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Bunny Day event will be starting on April 2nd, 2023! The event will last until April 9th and only comes once a year, so make sure to hunt down eggs and craft the special items while you can. You can't Time Travel to this event at the moment, it will only be available when the patch is added to the game!
Bunny Day Details
So, what's going to be happening during Bunny Day? Well, it looks like you're going to want to search for Zipper T. Bunny once it starts. This yellow rabbit will set you off on an egg hunt! You can collect eggs by digging up X marks on the ground, which normally will give you fossils. You can also fish them out of the water, and shake them down from trees as well. Those are the confirmed methods, I'm going to guess there's going to be a lot of additional ways to find them as well.
Once you've hunt down some eggs, you can use them to craft some limited time clothes and egg themed furniture! We don't know everything you can craft just yet, but here's a look at some of the items we know you can make for sure:
If you want to dress up your character to get into the spirit of the holiday, it looks like you'll be able to create an Egg Wreathe Hat, Egg Dress, and some pastel looking shoes to pull it all together. There's also a bunch of different indoor and outdoor furniture items like the Egg Archway, Table & Stools, Balloons, and multiple sized baskets for you to feature around your island!
You'll also notice a lot of trees have turned into cherry blossoms! This a feature of the time period, unfortunately you can't grow these specifically and feature them around your island. I'm pretty sure the Hardwood Trees are the ones that will turn pink during the event.
That's all we know about the Bunny Day Event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for now! We'll be updating this guide with additional information as it is released.
