Tips for completing Between Two Fires Challenge in Dying Light 2 Bloody Ties DLC

Techland has released their new expansion for Dying Light 2, Bloody Ties. This DLC will see you enter Carnage Hall to fight humans and freaks in the Arena with all manner of weapons. Before being accepted to Carnage Hall, you must complete three challenge tryouts. As these challenges can be tricky, here are our tips for completing the Between Two Fires challenge in Dying Light 2 Bloody Ties.

Between Two Fires Challenge Tips

Between Two Fires is a combat challenge requiring you to defeat 20 suiciders with a crossbow. When a suicider reaches you, it will explode and knock you to the ground. The best tips for completing this challenge at gold are:

• Remain on the high ground.
• Shoot the suiciders from a distance so they don't explode next to you.
• Pay attention to the white or red markers next to your reticle, indicating the closest suiciders to your position.
• Do not shoot suiciders close to you; run away and get high ground first.

The challenge can get out of hand very quickly if the suiciders knock you to the ground as they will continually catch up and explore next to your trying to stand up. If you are chasing the Gold star and suiciders knock you down, your best option is to cancel the challenge and start again. You only need the bronze star to continue the Bloody Ties questline.

Between Two Fires Rewards

Between Two Fires follows the same structure as the other combat challenges in Dying Light 2. The challenge has three tiers of rewards depending on the star you earn during the challenge, and the rewards are:

• Gold: 1170 Combat XP.
• Silver: 585 Combat XP.
• Bronze: 292 Combat XP.
