There are many new Pokémon to encounter in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Paldea region. This includes regional variants and new evolutionary lines, such as Tadbulb, the Electric frog Pokémon. This may leave you wondering how to get Tadbulb in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Where to find Tadbulb in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Tadbulb is a fairly common Pokémon to find in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. You can find it throughout the Paldea region, but we have included an image showing you where you can find it. Tadbulb can be encountered early on, so you don't have to worry about it being too high level or too difficult to catch. We found ours in the East Province, Area 2, on the river bank.

How to evolve Tadbulb in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

To evolve Tadbulb in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must use a Thunder Stone. This will evolve Tadbulb into Bellibolt. This is the only way to evolve Tadbulb, so you will need to get your hands on a Thunder Stone to get its evolution. Once you have a Thunder Stone, open your bag with the X button and find the Thunder Stone. Select it and use it on Tadbulb to trigger the evolution.

How to get a Thunder Stone in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

There are two main ways to get a Thunder Stone in Pokémon, but the easiest is to simply purchase it from the Delibird Presents shops found throughout Paldea. You can purchase a Thunder Stone from this vendor for 3,000 Poké Dollars. Otherwise, you can find it randomly on the ground while exploring, but this may take a while.
