How to make every Level 3 Sandwich in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Sandwiches are great, but sandwiches in Pokémon are literal magic.

Though the system for creating sandwiches in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet can be quite complicated, perhaps you have already figured out how to make level one and two sandwiches. However, you may now find yourself stuck on level three sandwiches. Luckily, the system for level three is not too complicated once you get it down. You can find how to make every level three sandwich in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet below.

How to make every Level 3 Sandwich in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

The construction of each type of level three sandwich actually follows the same format, save for the main ingredient. To create a level three sandwich, you must first use one cucumber and one pickle, followed by three of the ingredient that matches that sandwich type, and finally two Herba Mystica. The process is much simpler than sandwiches like the Fairy Shiny sandwich, but there are some exceptions that can complicate the process or potentially ruin part of the sandwich. Below, you can find each sandwich type and its corresponding ingredient:

  • Bug-type: Cherry Tomato
  • Dark-type: Smoked Fillet
  • Dragon-type: Avocado
  • Electric-type: Yellow Pepper
  • Fairy-type: Tomato
  • Fighting-type: Pickle
  • Fire-type: Red Pepper
  • Flying-type: Prosciutto
  • Ghost-type: Red Onion
  • Grass-type: Lettuce
  • Ground-type: Ham
  • Ice-type: Kalwf Stick
  • Normal-type: Tofu
  • Poison-type: Green Pepper
  • Psychic-type: Onion
  • Rock-type: Bacon
  • Steel-type: Hamburger
  • Water-type: Cucumber

Remember that along with three instances of the above ingredients, you'll also need one cucumber, one pickle, and two Herba Mystica. Furthermore, the types of Herba Mystica you use can matter greatly. Listed below are the few Herba Mystica combinations that can change the effectiveness of the sandwiches:

  • One Sweet and one Sour Herba Mystica will nullify the Encounter Rate boost the sandwich would normally provide regardless of what type it is.
  • Two Sweet Herba Mystica will nullify the Encounter Rate boost of the sandwich for the following types: Bug, Dragon, Fairy, Fighting, Normal, and Water.
  • Two Sour Herba Mystica will nullify the Encounter Rate boost of the sandwich for the following types: Bug, Dragon, Fairy, Ghost, Ice, and Normal.

Because using the wrong Herba Mystica combination can take away the Encounter Rate bonus, it is important to pay attention to which ingredients you are mixing. However, while the Encounter Rate bonus will be nullified, even if you do make a level three sandwich with a bad Herba Mystica combination, the Title Power and Sparkling Power of the sandwich should still be completely fine.
