Where to find Mimikyu in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

While there are many new Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet's Paldea region, there are also returning Pokémon. This includes Mimikyu, which was introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon. With it returning, you may be wondering where to find a Mimikyu in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to get Mimikyu in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Mimikyu can be found in various locations throughout Paldea in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This includes the following locations.

• Tagtree Thicket
• North Province, Area Two
• East Province, Area Two

We found our Mimikyu in Tagtree Thicket, but it is a rare spawn, making it hard to find. It is even harder to find one in East Province, Area Two, so you will have to look for quite some time to find one. In North Province, Area Two, you can encounter a Tera Mimikyu in the wild. Keep in this will be a high-level Pokémon, so it will be difficult to catch.

Mimikyu is a great Pokémon thanks to its Ghost/Fairy-type combination and its ability Disguise, making it good for competitive and Tera Raids. This allows it to take one hit before receiving damage, which can lead to powerful combos. If you find yourself up against one, remember this before using your strongest attacks.
