Diablo 3 is a popular and intense game that is very largely considered to be one of the most iconic of all time. However, there might be times when you may encounter an error code 1 that could spoil your gaming experience. The error code 1 can pop up on your screen due to various reasons including lack of administrative privileges or compatibility. How to fix D3 Error Code 1

The following are all the possible ways to fix this error code if you happen to run into it:

  1. Run as administrator
    • Right-click the Diablo.exe application.
    • Select the Run as Administrator option.
  2. Update your graphics driver.
  3. Run Diablo 3 in windowed mode
    • Right-click the .exe file located in the Diablo 3 file in the proper properties folder.
    • Add "-w" at the end of the Diablo.exe.
  4. Disable antivirus/firewall
    • Add Diablo's main folder to the antivirus scan's exceptional list.
    • In the case of a firewall, temporarily turn it off for both private and public networks.
