If you’re looking to farm Floaters in Fallout 76, we’ve noted the best spots below. Each of the locations we’ve marked can spawn up to six Floaters, and so are all fantastic farming spots. Other solid locations include Veiled Sundew Grove, The General’s Steakhouse Yard, and Safe n’ Clean Disposal, but while dependable, you’ll usually find fewer spawns at those locations.

  1. Solomon’s Pond buildings: In the Savage Divide region of Appalachia. Also, watch out for Scorched in the area.
  2. Spruce Knob Channels: In the Savage Divide region of Appalachia. You’ll find at least one of each variant of Floater here.
  3. Lake Eloise: In the Savage Divide region of Appalachia. Two bridges connect to an island, on which you’ll find a nest of Floaters.
  4. Old Mold Quary: In the Cranberry Bog region of Appalachia. Remember to check the filling cabinet inside the building, as you may also find a Vault-Tec bobblehead.

As these locations tend to spawn the most Floaters, your best bet is to clear them out and then switch to another server, rinse, and repeat.
