Chivalry is alive and kicking.

Ragnarok Origin is a mobile MMORPG that sprang from the Ragnarok Online franchise. What is the best Ragnarok Origin Knight build?

The best Ragnarok Origin Knight build is going to depend on your goals in the game and the way you play, but is likely to fall into one of two categories: the Tank or Pierce build. Which you choose will depend on whether you want to concentrate on protection (tank) or damage dealing (grinding).

If you want to protect your friends and guildmates in Ragnarok Origin, the Knight tank build will allow you to do so. You’ll stick with the traditional one-handed sword and shield combo and put the vast majority of your stat points in Vitality. This will maximize your survivability, allowing you to concentrate on drawing mobs away from your squishier DPS teammates. You’ll want to have at least 10+ Dexterity too, so raise that as you go. Beyond that, it is a personal choice between adding some Strength to help out in the damage department or improving your defensive side even more with some points in Intelligence to help with Magic Defense.

Ragnarok Origin Tank Knight skills

For Swordsman skills, max out Bash and Fatal Blow, as well as Endure. Provoke is also important to your role so you can lure targets to attack you (don't necessarily max it until you can afford it later). Sword Mastery is as desirable as Provoke, so raise them both roughly in unison. Once you get to Knight skills, max out Sturdy Strike as it reduces the damage you take. Boost its buff by maxing out Iron Will (you’ll gain a Shield when health is low). You’ll also want to put points into Lion Roar, which helps you draw mobs and is also boosted by Iron Will. Charge Attack is important, and is only one point, so get that as early as you can.

If you’re playing largely to level up alone and tank down as many mobs as possible, the Grinding Knight build can bring on maximum carnage. Here you’re best off going with the spear option to bring the Brandish Spear skill into play. To put out maximum damage, you need to max out your Strength. Make sure to also raise Dexterity to at least 10+, and put any spare points into Vitality.

Ragnarok Origin Pierce Knight skills

Pierce Knights need to concentrate on the Pierce skills instead. Max out Endure and HP Recovery, as you need survivability from skills due to the lack of Vitality in your stats. You’ll need Riding and maxed Cavalier Mastery to get to Brandish Spear, which you’ll want to max out to maximize your main attack’s damage potential. Also, get to 10 in Spear Mastery and Pierce Combo to further increase your damage potential, and don’t forget a point into Charge Attack.
