Jedi Survivor Blaster stance – Best Build & How to get

Han Solo and Luke Skywalker in one!

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor continues to bring us different lightsaber fighting styles. Cal Kestis has proven to be a master of the three known fighting techniques: single-lightsaber fighting style, double-bladed, and dual wield. You will play with all three stances from very early in the game, bringing much versatility to your combat. But the game adds two more stances, further upgrading your combat capability. This guide will show you how to get the Blaster stance and the best build.

How to get the Blaster stance in Star Wars Jedi Survivor

To get the Blaster stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you must travel to the world of Jedha and meet up with some old friends. After completing the first primary story mission, Bode Akuna will give you a Blaster and teach you how to use it, unlocking the Blaster stance. This event is not missable since it's part of the main storyline, so it will only be a matter of time until you unlock the Blaster stance by natural progression in the game.

The Blaster stance is, in my opinion, the best stance out of the four you can get so far. Not only did this stance give me more range to take care of the opponents that were farther back, but it also gave me the ability to parry and attack more quickly. In addition to blasting opponents too far away to hit with a lightsaber, Cal also changes how he wields his lightsaber. He handles it more like a rapier, lunging himself toward enemies and using quick jabs and pokes to deal fatal damage, especially to low-health troopers.

Build to complement the Blaster stance in Star Wars Jedi Survivor

The Blaster stance is best complemented with a Double-bladed stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The Double-bladed stance allows for a quick change in tactics, providing less mobility and range in favor of more defense when the opportunity calls for it. I found that the Attunement Line trio of Force skills works very well with the Blaster stance, as it allows you to fire more Blaster shots.
