How to open the Molten Hoard chest in WoW Dragonflight

There's a lot to do and see following the World of Warcraft 10.1 update, and one thing to do is explore the Zaralek Cavern. In this underground cavern, you'll come across the Molten Hoard chest. Here's how to open it.

How to get to the Molten Hoard chest in WoW Dragonflight

The chest itself can be found at the northern end of the Zaralek Cavern at Aberrus. If the Molten Hoard is available for you, meaning you haven't already opened it, then it will be marked where the yellow circle is above.

As for opening it up, you won't need a special key or anything like you need for the Secured Shipment, but instead, you fly right to it. Don't let the flowing lava or the bars in front of the chest fool you as you're able to glide right on in and grab your loot. It might seem a bit odd, but it worked for me and should work for you.

What's in the Molten Hoard in WoW Dragonflight?

Inside the Molten Hoard will be a transmog for a sword called the Molten Primal Fang. It's a purple rarity, and it comes with a nice design to boot, so opening the chest is worth the trouble.

If you're not into collecting transmogs, or you just don't want to play a class that uses a sword, then you're free to leave the chest unopened. However, you better hope the icon doesn't end up bugging you if you decide to leave it alone.
