Tier 1 Prescriptions

In order to unlock the Tier 2 Prescriptions, you'll have to buy all of the Tier 1 first. You unlock the currency to unlock these every time you level up, but upgrading your Rig uses the same currency, so you'll need to make a choice what to focus on first.

  • Instant Use—Gives you the ability to use items when looking at them rather than having to add them to your inventory by holding Left Click.
  • Slide—You will slide if you press the crouch button when running.
  • Regeneration—Gives you health regeneration for one bracket that activates after a few seconds.
  • Self Defense Technique—Makes it so bottles and bricks can be used when you're grabbed to escape.
  • Hard Kick—Saving your friends when they are grabbed by kicking them won't exhaust you anymore.
  • Stay of Execution—Saving your friends from enemy execution won't exhaust you anymore.
  • Run And Smash Doors—Gives you the ability to open doors when sprinting but will crack doors that are locked.

All Tier 2 Prescriptions

  • Expanded Inventory—Increases your inventory by one slot.
  • Doors Basher—All locked doors can be bashed in just two hits.
  • Breaching Technique—Makes it so bashing doesn't use stamina.
  • Speed Boost—Makes you run faster.
  • Endurance—Reduces stamina consumption when you're running.
  • Athlete—Increases your maximum stamina.
  • Gymnast—Reduces stamina consumption for jumping and climbing.
  • Battery Extension—Increases the battery life for your night vision.
  • Heavy Training—Increases your speed when moving large objects.

What to upgrade first in Outlast Trials?

Because all of the upgrades in The Outlast Trials use the same currency, you'll have to decide between upgrading your Rig and getting Prescriptions. The later Rig upgrades start to become really strong, but the Tier 2 Prescriptions are just as worth it. Generally, getting your Tier 1 Prescriptions and then upgrading your Rig before getting the Tier 2 Prescriptions is better.

This is because it'll support your team much more on the easier Trials by getting the ability to save them with the Prescriptions. Heal, Stun, and X-Ray Rigs really start to help with objectives and saving your teammates, while the Tier 2 Prescriptions focus more on just making your Trial times faster.
