I've played many horror games, and while I've enjoyed most of them, few had replayability. However, Dead by Daylight is a different beast, with a steady batch of new killers and survivors. While you can play with or against legendary bad guys from movies and games, some of the biggest scares came from original killers. One of them is the Singularity, a horrific combination of futuristic technology and flesh, that is part of sci-fi Chapter 28: End Transmission Dead by Daylight update.
Dead by Daylight - The Singularity Perks and Abilities
Singularity is a biomechanical killer introduced in Dead by Daylight. Besides the futuristic monster, this chapter introduces one of the best maps in Dead by Daylight and the survivor Gabriel Soma. No offense to Gabriel, but I'm much more interested in the abilities and perks of this futuristic abomination called the Singularity. Here's everything we know about this killer:
Biopods
Biopods are living sensors that detect and infect survivors when they get near them. Besides that, the Singularity uses them as a beacon for teleportation. This way, the killer can get close to the survivors instantly, as long as they're near the Biopods.
Dimensional Rift Ability of the Singularity
The Dimensional Rift ability allows the killer to create two portals and teleport from one to another. As if that's not scary enough, the Singularity causes nearby survivors to scream, thus revealing their positions. Luckily, survivors can close the portal before the killer uses them.
Slipstream ability of the Singularity in Dead by Daylight
The Singularity uses the Slipstream ability to infect multiple survivors. If one survivor is infected, he'll transmit it to others nearby. This complicates things for survivors, making their cooperation less likely, as players will be reluctant to get infected.
