Best solo class for Diablo 4

Newbie or Veteran?

Are you trying to play Diablo 4 solo, but not sure which class you should pick? It is understandable. After all, each of Diablo 4's five unique classes offer up its own strengths and weaknesses, and they aren't all made equal when it comes to solo play. That said, there must always be best class at something, and for soloing, that option is actually pretty easy to choose, whether you're a new player or a beginner to Diablo.

What is the best solo class in Diablo 4?

Depends on who you are. If you are a brand new player with absolutely no knowledge of Diablo or how the game works, then automation is your friend, making the Necromancer the best solo class for you. The Necromancer gets access to a whole slew of undead minions that can do all the dirty work for you, while you watch safely from the sidelines. It isn't the most effective at any one thing, but it does offer ease of access for newcomers. It is, without a doubt, the best solo class for new players.

However, if you're a veteran of the Diablo series, and you're wondering which class is best for crushing the hordes of Hell alone, then I'd recommend the Sorcerer to you. Since you're a vet, you probably already know that arcane casters, throughout the Diablo series, have famously always been extremely powerful due to their versatile magic. Options are the name of the game for solo play, and the Sorcerer has everything you can possibly need in their overloaded kit. Yes, even self-healing. However, know that Sorcerers are flimsy. Without proper cooldown use and movement, you'll be overwhelmed very fast, which is why I don't recommend this class to players just starting out.

So there you have it. The best solo class for new players and veterans alike. Now get out there and seize Sanctuary back from Lilith's demonic clutches.
