All Gora Dam weapon and item locations in MW3

Open Combat Missions in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 allow players to complete the objectives in whichever way they please while exploring the map and collecting gear. Here's a guide on where to find all weapons and items in the Gora Dam mission.

All weapon and item locations in Gora Dam - Modern Warfare 3

There are 21 weapons and items to discover during the Gora Dam mission in the Modern Warfare 3 Campaign:

5. Hybrid MTZ-556 Assault Rifle

9. Silenced Striker SMG
10. Incendiary RAAL MG LMG
11. MCPR-300 Bolt Rifle
12. Silenced Expedite 12 Shotgun

15. Snapshot Pulse Field Upgrade

While some of these weapons are in isolated places, others can be found bunched together at a single location. Below I've listed the exact locations of all the weapons and items in Gora Dam. Just follow the list in order and you'll keep discovering one item after the other without missing anything.

KVD Enforcer

Once the mission begins, jump off the catwalk and use your parachute to glide over to the northeast section of the map. At the marked location, you'll find the KVD Enforcer Marksman Rifle inside an orange supply box on the ground (see second image in the slide).

RGL-80 and Armor Box

Take out the enemies in your way, preferably stealthily, and walk down the road to reach the building to the south. You'll find the items inside supply boxes in the back of the truck at the marked location.

Silenced M16

Take the zipline to reach the top of the building, kill the sniper, and pick up the M16 from the box. This is one of my favorite weapons to use during the Gora Dam mission, just use it in single-fire mode.

Hybrid MTZ-556 and Recon Drone

Get these items from the container office outside the unguarded checkpoint.

Munitions Box

Turn back and get this field upgrade from another container room which should be on your left.

Holger 26

Go to the bridge connecting to the west section of Gora Dam and grab this LMG from the supply box next to the LTV vehicle. Make sure to take out the guards and hack the turret on the back of the truck.

Silenced Striker

Another one of the best guns in this mission that you can get from the supply drop on top of the container room situated in the southwest corner of the map.

Incendiary RAAL MG

North of your position at the location marked above, there will be a small structure inside which you'll find this LMG.

MCPR-300

Go further north and you'll spot a radio tower next to the control building. Reach the top of the tower using the zipline and grab the MCPR-300 Sniper Rifle from the supply box.

Silenced Expedite 12, PILA, Signal 50, Snapshot Pulse, Heartbeat Sensor, and Silenced 556 Icarus

There are six items to be discovered inside the Gora Dam control building and I've marked them on the map above. The yellow circles mark the items on the first floor, the green circle indicates the one on the second floor, and the white circle is for the items on the roof.

Enter the building and on the first floor, you'll find three supply boxes with the Silenced Expedite 12 Shotgun, PILA Launcher, and Signal 50 Sniper Rifle (second image). Then take the stairs to reach the second to obtain the Snapshot Pulse field upgrade (third image). Now, exit the building via the entrance on your right and climb up the ladder on the exterior to reach the roof, where you can unlock the Heartbeat Sensor and the Silenced 556 Icarus LMG.

Silenced EBR-14

Now, use the zipline to reach the roof of the small isolated building to your east and grab the EBR-14 Marksman Rifle from the supply box.

Anti-Armor Rounds

Jump off the building and glide over to the road at the foot of the dam where you'll find this field upgrade.

Silenced Rival-9

Enter the base of the dam after carefully hacking the claymore, and most importantly, make sure not to shoot at any of the C4s attached to the walls. Get the SMG from the supply box shown above.

Fennec 45

The last weapon remaining for you to unlock in the Gora Dam mission will be the Fennec 45 SMG. To reach it, you need to go back to the roof of the control building where you found six items a while back. Use the zipline I've marked in the second image to reach the supply drop where the gun is.
