Why is Royale High trading hub down?

Reading has been an absolutely key part of Royale High for many players since being introduced in 2020. As long as you’re level 75 or higher, you should be able to swap gear via the Intergalactic Trading Hub. So why is the Royale high trading hub down right now?

Why can’t I get into the Royale High Trading hub?

There is no official word on why the trading hub is down. The good news is that the same announcement says, We will bring back up the Trading Hub as soon as we can! This clearly marks the issue as a priority, so we can only hope the trading hub will be back up with the next patch, hopefully in the next week.

As far as we know, the Intergalactic Trading Hub may be down due to a bug. The fact it is down has been mentioned on Royale High’s game page on Roblox, so it is a known issue. Another theory that ties in with this is that the trading hub is getting a huge update, which includes being able to trade dorm items. If this is true, it could simply be that the hub isn’t quite ready to go live yet so is being held back for more testing.

However, there is some speculation that it has been deliberately brought down due to the current Advent Calendar event. This would encourage players to log in every day to collect all the exclusive Advent Calendar items, rather than just trading for them. 

If you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, entering the trade hub once you’re level 75 allows you to trade items with other players. While mermaid tails can’t be traded, all wings and shoes plus selected accessories and skirts may be traded. This is a great way to fill gaps in your wardrobe after events or pick up older items you may have missed.
