Best one-shot Sniper in Warzone 3

The only one-shot Sniper Rifles to use!

Sniping in Call of Duty: Warzone took a back seat for a while when Sniper Rifles were nerfed. That is no longer the case after MW3 integration as one-shot Snipers have returned. Wondering about the best loadouts for them? Keep reading.

Best one-shot Sniper Rifles in MW3 Warzone

Out of all the weapon options available from MW3 and MW2, only the KATT-AMR Sniper Rifle can one-shot kill an enemy when you hit them in the head. Besides that, some other guns can also one-shot kill a player but only when you use the explosive ammunition. In this guide, I have listed the top three one-shot Snipers in Warzone 3 with their best builds.

1. KATT-AMR

If you want the best one-shot Sniper Rifle in Warzone, look no further than the KATT-AMR. It's the only weapon in its category that doesn't need any extra attachment to make it a one-shot kill. It has a good enough bullet velocity and drop-off, but it doesn't feel as good as the HDR or AX-50 from the original Warzone.

  • Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor XL
  • Barrel: ZANG-34 Barrel
  • Laser: Corio LAZ-44 V3
  • Stock: Tactical Stock Pad
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal Spire Point

With this KATT-AMR loadout, I've prioritized improving the Sniper's bullet velocity and aim-down-sight (ADS) speed. While the muzzle, barrel, and ammunition are meant for the former, the laser and stock help with the latter stat. You can make changes to this build, for instance, swap the barrel with the Ephemeral Quickbolt bolt if you want a slightly faster rechambering speed. You may even use an attachment slot for a better optic like the SP-X 80 6.6x or FTAC Locus SP.

2. MCPR-300

The next weapon on my list is the MCPR-300 from MW2, but you must use the explosive ammo to make it a one-shot kill as mentioned previously. This in turn makes the bullet velocity atrocious, around 500 m/s (in comparison, KATT-AMR has 1000 m/s with the shared build). With such slow bullet velocity, you have to lead your shots by a lot and aim much higher.

  • Ammunition: .300 Mag Explosive
  • Magazine: 5 Round Mag

It's likely the developers will soon make this and some other heavy-duty Sniper Rifles one-shot kill by default, but until then you can use this MCPR-300 loadout.

3. FJX Imperium

This list would be incomplete if I didn't mention the iconic Intervention from the original MW2. Its performance is almost identical to that of the MCPR-300, but it just feels better to use in Warzone.
