Population is a key aspect in every city building game, necessary for success, and Pioneers of Pagonia is no exception. You can't get people to move to your city in Pioneers of Pagonia, though.
And you need people to build trade routes and other expansion options. So what do you do if you want to increase population fast?
How do you increase your population in Pioneers of Pagonia?
If you want to increase your population, you'll need to build a few key structures and be certain your population is utilizing them. This is because unlike a game like Cities Skylines, population is not determined by citizens moving to your down. Rather, you only get more people via reproduction between current residents. To do this, you should:
- Ensure you have cottages and residences for your people to live/sleep in.
- After this, build a tavern.
- Place tavern tables close to the tavern.
- These tables will allow your villagers to eat comfort meals, which encourages reproduction and birth.
- Wait for some time and be certain you have a comfort score of 5 (for populations over 500, you'll need more).
- See your population increase!
How to raise your Comfort Score in Pioneers of Pagonia
A comfort score is based on the meals your population consumes at taverns, which can only be achieved with tavern tables placed nearby the tavern structure. Ingredients like deer meat will make the quality of your comfort meals better. In turn, this will raise the comfort score for your residents, so make sure you have buildings for farming, hunting, and gathering. Meeting all of these needs will raise your comfort score and give you a much bigger population in the long run.
