Like most other Early Access games, Pioneers of Pagonia has a roadmap that lays out the developers' plans for the game's development over an extended period (usually of a year or two). The Pioneers of Pagonia roadmap has four major phases: Economy, Mining, Co-Op, and Quality of Life.

  • Economy - fishing hut, big storage, production statistics
  • Mining - subsurface mining, gold/gems, jewelry, geology
  • Co-op - multiplayer, new objectives, new artifacts, new discoveries
  • Quality of Life - food system history and statistics, copy building with settings, combat upgrades, building placement enhancements, new notification options

There will also be updates beyond these, even further down the road. These include magical characters, new enemies, additional buildings, and added maps.
