Warframe offers a feature that allows cross-saving across different platforms. In this article, I will explain how this works.
How does cross platform save work in Warframe?
Warframe is available on multiple platforms, including PC, Xbox, Windows, and the Nintendo Switch. To enhance your experience, Warframe offers a cross-platform saving feature that allows you to link or merge your accounts for a more seamless experience.
Merging accounts in Warframe
This is a one-time account merge that allows you to connect and consolidate multiple accounts from various platforms into your primary platform. This is a permanent merge, so if you have played Warframe on different platforms, you can consolidate all of the progression from those platforms into one main account of your choice.
Linking accounts in Warframe
Linking your Warframe accounts will allow you to designate one platform as your permanent account. From there, you can choose to create additional accounts on various platforms to expand your presence. All the progress and resources collected on that separate platform will then be transferred to your main account.
Whether you are eligible to link or merge accounts depends on whether you created your account on or after November 24, 2023. If the latter is true, you will only be able to link your Warframe account to branches on other platforms.
