Best Weapon and Medallion Combos in The Rogue Prince of Persia

This guide contains 8 builds, each centered around one of the main weapons in the Rogue Prince of Persia. Use them as-is or keep them saved as inspiration for your next run.

Best Double Dagger Build

If you don't want to face enemies head-on, use this build to get the jump on them! The Stealth Spirit tool is used to let you get behind enemies easily.

ItemItem Name
Main WeaponDouble Dagger
ToolStealth Spirit
Medallion 1Sticky Dive
Medallion 2Toxic Vault
Medallion 3Sleight of Poison
Medallion 4Toxic Counter

Best Royal Sword Build

This Royal Sword build is perfect for players new to the game. All of the Medallions used are those available from the start of the game, so you won't need to go on a hunt for the hidden Medallions. If you're not sure where to start, I recommend starting with this one. Figure out what you like and don't like, then swap out the pieces accordingly.

ItemItem Name
Main WeaponRoyal Sword
ToolChakram
Medallion 1Toxic Shock
Medallion 2Vampiric Demise
Medallion 3Sleight of Poison
Medallion 4Slicing Vault

Best Tabar Build

The best way to describe this build is a barbarian with a crossbow. Anyone who gets in front of you will have to fight through your axe to attack you. At the same time, the Composite Bow helps you deal with enemies just out of arms reach.

ItemItem Name
Main WeaponTabar
ToolComposite Bow
Medallion 1Pyromaniac
Medallion 2Neurotoxic Agent
Medallion 3Ranged Flaming Counter
Medallion 4Flaming Projectile

Best Spear Build

This is a great build for those who like to fight from all distances. The Spear can be used for mid-range and long-range attacks. If you throw the Spear, the Chakram will keep you dealing lots of damage to your enemies while it returns. The Resin ability Sticky Kick is included to give you a helping hand when enemies loom too close. Additionally, Flame Projectile will help you recharge your energy so you can always toss a Chakram.

ItemItem Name
Main WeaponSpear
ToolChakram
Medallion 1Slicing Vault
Medallion 2Sticky Kick
Medallion 3Flaming Projectile
Medallion 4Sleight of Poison

Best Broadsword Build

Of the three swords in the Rogue Prince of Persia, the Broadsword is the slowest and the strongest. I paired it with the Grappling Hook because the hook will bring enemies in close and stun them, giving you more time to swing your sword. Neurotoxic Agent was added to do extra damage to these stunned enemies. Paper Lion makes you stronger but also more likely to die. If you don't want to take the risk associated with it, swap it out for something to help you escape or dodge, like a vault-themed Medallion.

ItemItem Name
Main WeaponBroadsword
ToolGrappling Hook
Medallion 1Neurotoxic Agent
Medallion 2Toxic Demise
Medallion 3Paper Lion
Medallion 4Immortal

Best Whirling Spear Build

One of the unique features of the Whirling Spear is that it can push enemies away with its special attack. This build focuses on attacking enemies close and then pushing them away. If you prefer to stay further away, swap the Grappling Hook for a long-range tool like the Composite Bow or the Jagged Saw.

ItemItem Name
Main WeaponWhirling Spear
ToolGrappling Hook
Medallion 1Pyromancer
Medallion 2Ranged Flaming Counter
Medallion 3Toxic Vault
Medallion 4Vampire Demise

Best Bagh Nakh Build

This Bagh Nakh build is all about fighting close and fighting dirty. Players will get extra advantages by fighting up close, kicking, and taking enemies out of the fight. It uses the Neurotoxic Agent Medallion to take advantage of the stun given by the Grappling Hook. If you need to vault over an enemy to dodge an attack, hit them from behind to regenerate your energy using the Sleight of Poison.

ItemItem Name
Main WeaponBagh Nakh
ToolGrappling Hook
Medallion 1Neurotoxic Agent
Medallion 2Vampiric Demise
Medallion 3Toxic Shock
Medallion 4Sleight of Poison

Best Falcata Build

This build is the "Glass Cannon" of these Rogue Prince of Persia builds due to its inclusion of the Paper Lion Medallion. You'll need to be adept at dodging attacks to get the most out of this build. The goal is to do large amounts of damage as quickly as possible. While the Flaming Projectile Medallion will not actually set things alight in this position, it allows you to throw the Jagged Saw continuously. If staying alive is your worry, the Immortal Medallion will give you an extra chance at survival.

ItemItem Name
Main WeaponFalcata
ToolJagged Saw
Medallion 1Immortal
Medallion 2Vampire Demise
Medallion 3Paper Lion
Medallion 4Flaming Projectile
