How to make money with Police Vigilante Dispatch missions in GTA Online

Be a good cop!

The Bottom Dollar Bounties update brought plenty of exciting additions to GTA Online including the much anticipated Police Vigilante Dispatch missions. So one of the main questions everyone has is how to start and make money with Police Vigilante Dispatch missions also known as Dispatch Work. Let's find out.

How to start Police Vigilante Dispatch missions in GTA Online

To start Dispatch work, you need a police car. Unfortunately, you can't just steal a police vehicle which means you need to own one. As of now, only six police vehicles can be purchased from the Warstock Cache and Carry website:

  • Greenwood Cruiser: $3,682,500
  • Dorado Cruiser: $3,753,750
  • Impaler SZ Cruiser: $3,540,000
  • Gauntlet Interceptor: $4,065,000
  • Unmarked Cruiser: $2,962,500
  • Stanier Le Cruiser: $3,517,500

Rockstar will likely add more in the future, but as of writing this article, these are the only ones. As you can see, the cheapest cop car you can get to do these Police Vigilante Dispatch missions is the Unmarked Cruiser, available for just under $3 million with its trade price.

Once you purchase one of these vehicles and it is delivered to your garage, simply call your mechanic to bring it to your current location. Next, hop into the driver seat of the police car and press the right analog stick on the controller to start a Dispatch Mission. However, make sure you're not set up as a CEO or an MC president; otherwise, the mission won't activate.

Dispatch missions in GTA Online are all about maintaining peace as a cop. Each objective rewards you with a whopping $25,000 cash upon completion. I've listed below all the challenges you can undertake while playing Police Vigilante Dispatch missions:

  • Officer Monitoring: Go to the area, kill the gangsters, retrieve the VCR tape, and deliver it to Vincent's lockup. You get $25,000 per mission.
  • Malicious Mischief: A gang is trying to blow up a building. Defuse the bombs within 10 minutes, and you get $25,000.
  • Civil Disturbance: Blow up three gang bosses, and you get $25,000.
  • Possession for Sale: Kill gang members, retrieve a drug package, and deliver it to Vincent's lockup for $25,000.

However, it's worth noting that there is a cooldown of five minutes once you complete a Dispatch work. While I do not consider it the best way to make money in GTA Online, it's still a decent alternative if we take the recent nerfs to other methods like payphone hits into account.
