How to try to complete the trial in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs in Genshin Impact – The Answer of the Lotus Leaves and Forest

In the Genshin Impact Simulanka World Quest called The Answer of the Lotus Leaves and Forest, you must complete two trials in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs. Here's everything you must do to solve the puzzles in each trial.

Try to complete the trial in the Cave of Eerie Murmurs in Genshin Impact

The mechanics for these trials are the same as all flying squirrel challenges in Simulanka. Press and hold the Normal Attack button to indicate the squirrel's path. It will pass through everything that glows. If your target doesn't glow, adjust your aim and try again.

Trial #1

Start by activating the two yellow flowers on either side of the map (in any order) by throwing the squirrel toward each of them. Doing so will activate two wind currents, which will be used to guide the squirrel's path later on.

Next, interact with the frog at the center of the clearing to raise Watersprout. It will raise the yellow flower on the left, allowing its wind current to move some of the floating garlands.

After that, head to the right side and aim the squirrel across the garlands. Make sure that all four garlands are selected. If you miss one, the puzzle will not be solved. Shoot the squirrel across the four, and the wind current will propel it upward.

Once done, step on the lilypad at the center of the clearing. The lilypad goes up and down at regular intervals, so you may have to wait for it to come down before you can step on it. You must wait for it to lift you up.

When the lilypad lifts you up, immediately position yourself so that the line connecting you to the squirrel pierces through all of the floating garlands. Quickly release the squirrel by using the Normal Attack button to complete the objective. If you missed it, the puzzle will reset but you can try again.

Trial #2

Start by throwing the squirrel into the three yellow flowers to activate three wind currents. Two of the flowers are elevated, while one is on the ground.

Next, interact with the frog on the right drum to drop Watersprout. Doing so will trigger the elevated flower on the right side to fall to ground level.

Interact with the drum on the left to trigger the frog to jump on top of it. Then, interact with it a second time to drop another Watersprout. Once done, all three flowers and wind currents must be on ground level.

Once all the wind currents have lowered, go to the right side and throw the squirrel across the garlands. It must pass through all four garlands, or you'll have to try again.

Next, head to the left side and step on the lilypad. Like before, wait for the lilypad to elevate your character so you're at eye level with the floating garlands.

Once you've been elevated, quickly face the floating garlands so that they're selected/glowing, then release the squirrel using the Normal Attack button to complete the puzzle objective. If you missed it, you have to redo the trial from the beginning.
