Fallout London (FOLON), a Fallout 4 mod, is so popular that it already has over 220 mods (sub-mods). That is truly an epic success, meaning fans are delighted to experience an apocalypse in the UK setting. While not all are great, you can find real mod gems.
Two weeks after its launch, Fallout London earned massive praise from fans, especially English ones. While they all agree that this mod is much better than expected, there's still work to be done. Luckily, the modding community has jumped in, creating mods that help with optimization, in-game detail changes, item fixes, etc. Like Fallout 4 mods, modders try to improve the game and make it even more English, and thus more immersive.
The most popular mod is Downgrader, which allows you to roll back from the next-gen version of Fallout 4. This FOLON mod is essential if you're planning to create one yourself. Apart from technical mods that make your gameplay more accessible, I enjoyed the most world-building ones. One is the Britpick Consistency Patch, which replaces American elements (e.g. cricket bat instead of baseball bat).
For similar purposes, you can also try the Workshop Rearranged Patch, which changes items to align with London's surroundings. For example, things appear from the Commonwealth, like a caravan hitching post requiring you to do a favor for Bunker Hill, USA.
Some of the more amusing ones include Churchill Summons Dogmeat Fix and Churchill Walking SFX Fix mods. They allow you to have an English version of Dogmeat with new sounds and avoid having ones from the famous German Shepherd. It is a British Bulldog, after all.
