Top 5 Meta Loadouts for The Finals Season 4

Try out these builds in S4!

The Finals Season 4 has been very well received by the player base thanks to the plethora of balancing changes and new additions to the game. After playing the update for a while, I have a few meta loadout recommendations for different builds to share with you here.

Best Loadouts for The Finals Season 4

Unlike other FPSs where the developers govern the meta via balancing the guns, players have the freedom to create their own meta in The Finals. Some gadgets and weapons will be more powerful than the other, but their usefulness is up to the user. Having said that, here are some best loadouts that I have been using recently in Season 4 of The Finals.

1. Heavy Build Loadout

  • Specialization: Charge 'N' Slam
  • Weapon: .50 Akimbo
  • Gadgets: RPG-7, Frag Grenade, Dome Shield

Until the end of Season 3, Light remains the most picked build while Heavy is the least played across all game modes. On the contrary, the win rate of Heavy build users is the highest. This means Heavy is an overlooked class and I have just the loadout to get you started.

Use Charge 'N' Slam to break through obstacles and smash the ground while dealing damage to enemies in your path. For the weapon, you have to try the new .50 Akimbo dual pistols and these are incredibly powerful and fun to use. The RPG now has a much slower reload speed and deals less damage, but it still is a great opener in fights. Pair this with a Frag Grenade to damage opponents from afar and the Dome Shield to provide instant cover whenever required.

2. Light Build Loadout

  • Specialization: Evasive Dash
  • Weapon: M26 Matter
  • Gadgets: Vanishing Bomb, Breach Charge, Gateway

You can't go wrong with the Evasive Dash specialization as you can master it to throw off your enemy's aim mid-combat. The new M26 Matter pump-action shotgun feels dominant at close to mid-range and is a no-brainer, especially if you want to use something fresh. Use Vanishing Bomb to stay out of sight and Gateway to teleport to other locations. Breach Charge is now better than ever as you can now carry three of these.

3. Medium Build Loadout

  • Specialization: Dematerializer
  • Weapon: Pike-556
  • Gadgets: Zipline, Jump Pad, Defibrillator

After the nerf to the overused Healing Beam, Dematerializer is my go-to specialization for the Medium class. You can use it to phase through objects and obtain advantageous positioning. This build has some of my favorite weapons (FCAR, AKM, R .357, Dual Blades), but I'm gravitating toward the Pike-556 DMR. Turns out, all three weapons added with The Finals Season 4 update are wonderful.

Removing the scope on this weapon to make it even better, similar to the LH1 marksman rifle in its prime. For the gadgets, I went with the Zipline and Jump Pad combination as it's a tried and tested setup that allows you to access unreachable spots with ease and move more freely across the map. Finally, I've used the Defibrillator that allows me to instant revive my allies, but Glitch Trap is another good gadget you may use instead.

4. Heavy Build Loadout #2

  • Specialization: Mesh Shield
  • Weapon: M60
  • Gadgets: Anti-Gravity Cube, C4, Pyro Grenade

Although Mesh Shield has been nerfed significantly, it still can be a viable option for experienced players; just keep in mind that the shield now enters cooldown when lowered or destroyed. M60 received fire rate and recoil control improvements which make it better than ever. You can instead use the Lewis Gun as well. The Anti-Gravity Cube can be used to lift players or cashouts when needed and C4 can be used to blow up foes or obstacles. I've been using the Pyro Grenade lately to distance myself from enemies in tricky situations.

5. Light Build Loadout #2

  • Specialization: Cloaking Device
  • Weapon: V9S
  • Gadgets: Glitch Grenade, Stun Gun, Flashbang

The last loadout recommendation in The Finals Season 4 is another Light build because it's such a popular class amongst players. This time I've used the Cloaking Device to move undetected for a while and paired it with the V9S pistols. The Glitch Grenade, Stun Gun, and Flashbang combination is perfect to disorient your enemies and disable their defenses.
