Chipotle Free Burritos on Roblox

Chipotle Getting Ready to Crash Roblox Again

Chanting free food!

While collaborations between Roblox and big brands are a thing, Chipotle's experience was very exciting to many since they were giving out free burritos. Once, Chipotle may or may not have crashed Roblox servers in 2021 when they held their Boorito Maze event. Will they do it again?

How it all started?

Back on October 26, 2021, Chipotle announced that there was a new store opening, and they tagged Roblox. They additionally confirmed that the first 30k people to visit the Boorito Maze at 3:30 pm PT will receive a free real burrito daily from October 28 to 31.

Of course, people flocked to the Roblox experience because who would say no to free food (I certainly wouldn't). During that time, Roblox experienced one of the biggest outages on October 29, one day into the free burrito event, leading many to suspect that it was Chipotle that crashed the servers.

According to the Roblox_RTC X account (formerly Twitter), Chipotle wasn't at cause of the big crash. Nevertheless, fans still call it the Chipotle Incident to this day. They've repeated this type of event multiple times (without any big crashes), and they're ready to hold it again. Chipotle X account has tweeted that we should expect something new on Roblox starting tomorrow, February 27, 2025, at 7am PT.

Will there be another Roblox Chipotle incident?

As you can see from the replies on this post, the Chipotle incident lives on in the minds of the people, with some hilarious comments like @dnkilos_ very effective and simple ''UH OH'', or @LilyGia calling for ''the Great Burrito Outage: Second Edition''.

You can go into the Chipotle Burrito Builder on Roblox even now, but there's nothing really to see yet. If you want to go in to queue right now and make sure you get a spot for a free burrito, sadly, it doesn't work like that. To make any changes to the game, the developers will have to shut down the servers, and you'll be kicked out.

From previous experience, just make sure that you can get into the Chipotle Burrito Builder as soon as it opens up if you're looking to get some free food. Keep in mind that, like in previous years, it will probably be limited to the US and Canada areas. Honestly, I'm mostly excited about seeing if Roblox crashes again, but for those who want the free food, I wish you luck!
