Echo Bay Murders – Chapter 2 Walkthrough

If you love puzzle solving, the Adventure Escape Mysteries series is well worth checking out. These free mobile games see players working through point-and-click RPG-style stories, finding and combining objects to reveal tricky puzzles. The Echo Bay Murders sees you taking charge of Detective Kate Gray as she investigates a potential serial killer. AE Mysteries Echo Bay Murders Walkthrough Chapter Two

Following Chapter One, Kate finds herself at the mercy of her number one suspect. The man identified on the security footage has run her off the road, and she’s now his hostage. After talking to your assailant, he gives you a glass of water before having to go upstairs to take a phone call. Can you use this opportunity to make your escape? Use the glass to get Broken Glass, then use the broken glass on the ropes to release your hands.

Click the rug (1a) to move it back, then click the area again for a close-up and pick up the Drill Bit. You can see a flashlight too, but you can’t reach it. Pick up the Bucket under the desk and the Pipe (1b) on top of it. Click the magazines (1c) for a close-up and take the Paperclip on the Lures leaflet. Take the Drill Battery from the shelf (1d). Use the paperclip to unlock the door on the right and take the Folding Chair, another Pipe, and use the drill bit and drill battery on the Drill which you can then pick up.

Click the boarded-up window (1e) with the chair selected to put the chair below the window. Use the drill on the boards on the window to remove them and take the third piece of Pipe from the window close-up. Now use the drill on the mounted deer’s head to reveal a broken section of the wall. Click the damaged wall for a close-up, then add your three pieces of pipe to begin a pipe rotation puzzle. You can’t fail this puzzle, but the picture above shows what it looks like when completed.

Finishing the pipes puzzle will fix the pipes, allowing water to flow from the sink. Use your bucket on the sink to get a Bucket of Water and use it in the hole in the floor so that you can get the Flashlight. Use the flashlight on the door on the right (1f) so you can see it properly, then click the door for a close-up to see that you need to enter a keypad combination. Make a note of the license plate number of the pickup you can see through the window (PCF 4DW), then cross-reference it with the Lures Leaflet (1c) you saw earlier. Put the resulting code (921437) into the keypad to leave the basement.

Upstairs in the cabin, get the Charger from on top of the chest (2a) and move the cushion on the sofa (2b) to find a Map Piece. Click the curtains to see that your assailant is still here. and take the Fish Trophy from the shelves (2c). Open the blue rucksack (2d) to find your Notebook and a Camera. On the camera close-up, click the panel on its left side and take out the Camera Battery. Put the camera charger in the wall socket (2e), add the camera battery, then put it back into the camera once it has charged.

You can now turn on the camera and look at the images to receive the Suspect’s Wife? Evidence. Note the order of the flower colors in her hair (white, yellow, red, purple, red).  Click the appropriate colored animal trophies on the walls to match this pattern, which opens the ceiling hatch. Click it to lower the ladder and go upstairs. Use the flashlight, move its beam across to the red chair (3a), get the Gun that is on it, then click the yellow rug hanging over it to get a second Fish Trophy.

There’s a third Fish Trophy at the back of the room (3b). Click the silver box (3c) to get a Key, then head back downstairs. Use the key on the large chest (2f) and get a second Gun plus a Magnet from inside. This also triggers your suspect to leave, allowing you to open the curtains. This gets you the Cabin in the woods Evidence, while you can also grab a second Map Piece from the left windowsill.

Echo Bay Chapter 2: Gun Puzzle Walkthrough

Click on the gun rack and add the two guns to it, triggering a gun placement puzzle. The trick here is to note down the height and darkness of the trees you can see outside the window, then match the gun heights and colors to the trees. It’s very simple once you’ve worked that out, and you can’t do anything to fail the puzzle. Completing the puzzle pops open the drawer next to the gun case, from which you can get a Lightbulb. Go back upstairs and use the lightbulb on the lamp shade (3d), illuminating the whole room.

Use the magnet on the blue drawers (4a) to open them and get the Crowbar. Use the crowbar on the planks on the window (twice) to remove them, then on the loose board on the wall (4b) to get a third Map Piece. Then use it on the loose floorboard (4c) to get the Wrench. Use the wrench on the bicycle to get the Handlebars. Select the box on the floor (4d) and note the two fish types. Click the map which is on the table (4e) and add your three map pieces, which allows you to work out the coordinates of the two fish on the box. Put these numbers (50, 27, 30, 15) into the box to open it and get the fourth Fish Trophy.

Echo Bay Chapter 2: Fish Trophy Puzzle Walkthrough

Click on the fish trophy cabinet (4f) to get the Prized Fisherman Evidence, then add the four fish trophies to start the fish trophy puzzle. Each type of fish has its own row and each type (pair, spotted, striped, etc) has its own column, which you can work out from the locked cases. From top to bottom, it is red fish, blue fish, pink fish, and green fish. From left to right, it is plain, gold, pair, spotted, and striped.

Once complete, a draw will open at the bottom of the cabinet. Take the Harpoon from inside and use it on the Harpoon Gun in the wooden case (4d). Use the Harpoon Gun on the window, then the handlebars on the harpoon gun rope to use it as a zip line to complete your escape, and finish the chapter.
