How to build a Landmark in Age of Empires IV

Build the Landmark of your choice!

Landmarks are one of the most important buildings in the Age of Empires IV. Each landmark available is based on its clan/race and is responsible for advancing your civilization to the next Age. There are various types of landmarks like Defensive, Economic, Religious, and Military. To build a landmark in Age of Empires IV, Select any idle/working villager and click on advance to the next Age button.

Building a Landmark in Age of Empires IV

To build a landmark, follow the steps given below.

  • Choose any idle/working villager, and in the menu, look for the advance to the next age button as shown below.

  • You will receive a small pop-up window showing any two landmarks required to transcend into the next Age. The window box will only be displayed if you have the necessary resources to build it.
  • Choose any one landmark and start building it with the required resources.

Remember, Each landmark has certain bonus perks associated with them. Choose the landmark that better suits your gameplay style and vision.
