ALZARA Radiant Echoes takes you to a vibrant world inspired by the classics

Taking inspiration from classics of the genre like Final Fantasy X and Golden Sun, ALZARA: Radiant Echoes adds its own twist to the turn-based formula by setting the game into a beautiful world where the power of the four elements is key. These combined with the theme of friendship and unity, make for a hearty adventure for players to undertake.

Players will take on the role of Kayla and her allies, who harness the elemental magics to defeat the invading forces and restore peace to Alzara. Each of the heroes has unique abilities linked to the four elements: Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water, and they can utilize these to take on the various types of enemies. And, by combining the elements, they can create even more powerful magic.

The main character designer for the game is Yoshiro Ambe, known primarily for his work in Trials of Mana and Genshin Impact.

An intriguing feature of ALZARA Radiant Echoes is the Hero placement and swap system. You can choose to place some of your heroes on the offensive and others in the back for support. When the ''Echo'' runs low in the front, you can swap them with the heroes from the back to restore their Echo. This is very interesting as it adds a new layer of strategy in various encounters and makes them more intense as all the heroes will have to work together to triumph.

You'll also be able to summon Legends during battles as well, who'll use some special moves to do some serious damage to enemies.

Music is an integral part of any JRPG and you'll be able to hear the familiar work of Motoi Sakuraba, known for his role in Dark Souls and Golden Sun soundtracks. Sakuraba has composed the main theme of the game, in which his known blend of guitar, orchestra and electronic sounds is present.

ALZARA Radiant Echoes looks absolutely stunning and is certainly, an amazing indie game players can look forward to. The game is set for release in 2026 but with no specific time window announced. The developers are planning to bring the game to Steam as well as consoles. The game has currently exceeded its initial Kickstarter crowdfunding goal of 100,000 and currently aiming for its stretch goals.
