In Apex Legends, players generally don’t know about events until a few weeks before them, unless they get information from trusted leakers. For Season 12: Defiance, however, the Apex Legends team took a different approach. Via an infographic on their Twitter page, the Apex Legends development team announced all three of their planned events for the next season.
The first of the three events had been common knowledge among players for a while, it being the 3rd Anniversary Collection Event. That other two, however, had not been mentioned until this tweet. The event schedule for Apex Legends Season 12: Defiance is as follows.

Season 12: Defiance Major Events
- 3rd Anniversary Collection Event
- Warriors Collection Event
- Unshackled (Thematic) Event
The first of the events, 3rd Anniversary, will start at the beginning of the new season, while Warriors should happen mid-season. Unshackled will most likely be a three-week end-of-season event, similar to Monsters Within and Dark Depths. Season 12: Defiance launches on Feb. 8.
