Vantage is the latest Legend added in Apex Legends, and she is classified as a Survivalist Sniper. This character's tactical ability calls forth a bat known as Echo, and players have discovered various glitches related to this ability. One of the most popular bugs related to this Legend allows players to quickly perform a directional dash to bamboozle opponents. Similarly, players have also equipped Heat Shields on Echo to avoid damage while moving through the zone. Here's what you need to know about the glitches surrounding Vantage's tactical ability in Apex Legends.
Twitter user @Skeptation showed how players could perform a directional dash with Vantage's tactical ability while using Shield Cells and Batteries. The trick is simple, and you need to use Shield Cells or Batteries and cancel the heal animation by pressing the tactical ability button and the directional button simultaneously. This gives a short mid-air boost, similar to Jett's dash ability from Valorant.

We tried this in the training range, and you must have damaged Evo Shields to perform this trick. You can also place Echo on the ground, so canceling the heal animation isn't required. Players should have Echo in their line of sight to perform this movement trick. The clip below shows how you can use this trick in-game to confuse enemies with unpredictable movement.
Another glitch related to Vantage's passive ability shows players can equip the Heat Shield on the Echo bat. This effectively allows them to move through the zone without taking any damage. While these glitches may not be game-breaking, they give players an unfair advantage. Vantage has quickly become a popular Legend with a high pick rate in the game. Players can expect this bug to be temporary because the developers will issue a fix soon.
