The Central Cave's exact coordinates are 60 and 48. Two passages and a big gap on the top serve as entrance points. The first passage is found at coordinates 55.0 and 51.2, northeast of the cave at the river shore. The second passage's coordinates are 63.4 and 43.9, located southwest of the cave.

Coming in from the northeast, you'll cross paths with Jug Bugs, Mantises, and other giant insectoids that can attack if they feel provoked. On the other side, you'll meet the more pacifist Morellatopses, Parasaurs, and Ankylosauruses. If you've acquired the Tek Armor, you can use the top crevice to drop down using the jetpack.

Unlike the Central Cave in ARK Survival Evolved, this version of the cave lets you construct buildings without using cliff platforms. The elevated rocks are perfect for turrets, while tight passages limit your attackers' maneuvering. The Supply Crate in the middle of the cave is a great storage option to avoid getting over-encumbered.

Since the Central Cave is right in the middle of the Scorched Earth map, you're likely to get raided. On the plus side, its chambers offer plenty of room for setting up defenses, and the best option is to train Stegosauruses to mow down anything that wonders into your base. There's no source of water inside the cave, so water tanks are a necessity.
