How to cool off boiler in Atomic Heart

How do you overcome this buggy quest?

The are quite a few quests to complete in Atomic Heart while you traverse the newly dystopian world as Major Nechaev. In those quests, you'll be challenged to find keys, rearrange puzzles, and do anything else that it takes to follow the orders of your superiors. Here's how you do this with the buggy boiler room mission.

How do you cool off the boiler in the Atomic Heart Into the Fire quest?

The boiler can be cooled off by collecting and inserting cooling candles. They look just like regular candles in Atomic Heart, yet they are blueish-white in color. You can find these cooling candles in the broken boiler with a large broken hole in the front of it. Take these candles to the tube (follow your directed arrows on the screen) and lead them to the overheating boiler. You'll repeat this process multiple times, but keep an eye out for the enemies that are signaled when you place each candle in the chute.

Is the Into the Fire quest buggy in Atomic Heart?

Depending on the player you ask, you'll find that there is a decent chance of the boiler room cooldown task in Atomic Heart bugging out. This bug is centered around not allowing players to place cooling candles into shoots. The problem with this is that the candle mechanism is the key feature of cooling down the boiler room.

To remedy the bug, try and save as close to the boiler room quest as possible. Then, if the quest bugs out, simply restart the game. This is not the most satisfying solution, but it is the only course of action until Mundfish possibly
